Egg Box Sleeves
This clever egg box sleeve was designed to enhance the presentation of our client’s egg box packaging.
Action
Orchard Organic Farm asked us to help them out of a tight spot - due to the lockdown difficulties, printed egg boxes were hard to come by. So they turned to us to ask if we could help find a suitable packaging solution.
The idea was to use a printed sleeve, similar to the type we produce for food trays and tubs. These egg box sleeves would be printed on a Kraft recycled board for a rustic touch and in a very simplistic design to complement their product range.
What we did
We printed these egg box sleeves on kraft board using vegetable-based inks so that the whole packaging is completely bio-degradable and compostable. This ensures Orchard Farm's egg box packaging fullfills their sustainability ethos.
We ended up creating sleeves that measured 325mm x 120mm using vegetable-based inks printed on 280gsm Cairn Eco Kraft which has been scored and double-sided tape applied.
Result
Not only does it look stunning, this printed egg box sleeve is such a brilliant way to enhance product packaging and provide a fast solution to a retailers nightmare. We just loved the concept and the response to a dilemma!
