Carbon Balanced Printing

Our push for greater sustainability has been boosted by our investment into the Carbon Balanced Printing programme set up by the World Land Trust.

We are now certified as one of just a handful of Carbon Balanced Printers, having measured and offset our operational carbon footprint with the World Land Trust. This means we can offer our clients Carbon Balanced paper and printed materials, where both the paper/board and the printing operational impacts have been offset.

Why Carbon Balanced Paper and Printing?

Paper is now regarded as one of the world's great sustainable products. It's biodegradable, recyclable and made from a renewable raw material.

Carbon Balanced Paper in partnership with World Land Trust is the next step. It's come at a time when business and consumers are looking for every way they can to reduce their carbon impacts.

Whilst every effort must be made to reduce emissions at source, some emissions may be unavoidable - at least in the short-term.

The certification, which is part of a scheme operated by WLT, was attained by offsetting our entire annual operational carbon footprint through the purchase of endangered tropical habitat.

By doing this, we will balance more than 24 tonnes of carbon each year, contributing to the preservation of more than 44 acres of endangered forest, equivalent to 25 football pitches.

Sir David Attenborough, a long-time patron and supporter of WLT, says of the charity: "The money that is given to WLT has, in my opinion, more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of."

Using the funding from the Carbon Balanced programme, WLT is working with a partner organisation in Vietnam, Viet Nature, to conserve the forests of Khe Nuoc Trong (KNT).

Vietnam is home to around 10% of the world's species. It is also one of the world's fastest growing economies, which is putting pressure on its biodiversity.

What does this mean for our customers?

This means that you can now promote the World Land Trust’s Carbon Balanced Print logo on your printed material to showcase to your own customer base that you’ve invested in sustainably-sourced, carbon balanced printing.

By using our Carbon Balanced printing services, you can build a story around your print and packaging that directly links to the World Land Trust conservation programmes.

We can issue a certificate on an annual basis to show how much carbon has been balanced by your purchases with us, to help you highlight to your own customers what you’re doing to protect the environment.

You can use our status to prove that your printed materials are directly benefitting some of the world’s most endangered habitats and species, ideal for complementing your existing marketing and PR activities.

It’s very simple; all you need to do is inform us of your preference to print using World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Paper, and we’ll organise everything for you. We’ll provide our unique Carbon Balanced logo for use on your artwork, and provide support for your marketing and PR teams to shout about your story.

Zero Landfill and Solar Panels

We're striving to achieve zero landfill status across our entire operation - by making sure that not a single scrap of waste generated has to go to landfill sites.

And we're almost there; in our most recent waste report, just 0.3% of our total waste was sent to landfill. 95% of the waste we generated was recycled; a result we're extremely proud of.

We're working hard to remove that final 0.3% altogether so that we can truly say we're sending nothing to landfill. Keep following our social channels for more updates!

In 2025, we had solar panels installed to our factory roof to make our production even more environemtally friendly and reduce our overall running costs. According to Callidus, our solar system will be equivalent to planting 714 trees per year and we will avoid burning 13,471 Kg of coal every year.

Good quality and friendly service
